This sits between the lengths of the Tacoma, but differentiates itself with its 58.7-inch width and 20.9-inch depth.
The other two beds are much larger, starting with the 6.5-foot bed that measures 77.6 inches long. The Toyota Tundra long bed is 8.1 feet long, exclusive to the Double Cab. With a length of 96.5 inches, this configuration is versatile and capable, holding a wide range of recreational equipment, debris, DIY materials, and more.
Because the 5.5-foot bed is found on heavier configurations, like the CrewMax, its maximum payload is rather low compared to the other two beds – 1,720 pounds, compared to 1,830 pounds on the 6.5-foot bed and 1,850 pounds with the 8.1-foot bed.1 To reach one of these, consider an SR or SR5.
